STOSS
An acronym standing for The Science & Theology of Salt in Scripture. It is a theology that shows us the Bible is the most advanced Biological Applied Sciences book ever written. Through STOSS, thirty-four mysteries of advanced Biological Applied Sciences hidden in Scripture are revealed.
STOSS Books was started by the author, Stephen Michael Leininger. When he was writing the two volumes of the book that would eventually become, The Science & Theology of Salt in Scripture, he realized that he was just scratching the surface of the science and theology of salt, dust, light, and water. There was at least ten different topics in these two volumes that he strongly felt deserve an entire book dedicated to their exploration.
Leininger took to heart what Pope John Paul II (the great) had said when he invited others to take up where he had left off. He felt that there was so much more that could be written about the Theology of the Body. Leininger believes that the Science and Theology of Salt in Scripture is a branch of the Theology of the Body, especially in relation to the nuptial union and the language of the body.
So, Leininger decided to start STOSS Books as a means to further explore the great depths of meaning that could be uncovered by the further study of salt, water, dust, light, and stone in the Bible. While he is currently the only author whose works we carry, the intention and desire is to encourage others to join in the effort to uncover the treasure-trove of knowledge hidden within Scripture.
